Hour of Code

It's Computer Science Education Week. If you noticed a change to Google's homepage, you may have seen that they are celebrating kids who code, as well. Today in Library Media, all students got to learn more about block coding and Scratch to create a new version of Google's logo. This evening we had several students and families attend our Hour of Code night to continue and share what they've learned. If you missed it and want to try at home together, start at code.org. Thank you to all that attended, and a special thanks to Fallon, Cody and Luke for sharing about the robotics team with our community and school board.

These are a few of the videos we watched during Library Media to talk about the importance of computer science and programming.
