Meet Dash and Dot

Meet Dash and Dot (or Max, VZ, and Michael as they’ve been renamed!), our newest Robot to VCS. These robots run through apps on the iPad. Students have been using Go, Path, and Blockly to program each robot and take them through a series of challenges. For example: Take a few minutes to explore how to move Dash using the "Go" app. Teach him how to make different sounds, change his LED light color and brightness, dance, etc. Then, take this challenge: Police Officer Dash. Make all lights flash blue, move Dash to another group that is in the Dash Challenge and record your voice to have him say, “You’re under arrest!”
